We are Families and Friends

of the 300 individuals who make their home at Richmond State Supported Living Center in Richmond, TX — an excellent residential facility providing total care for adults with severe and profound Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).  The purpose of this website is to provide information for our members and for other families whose loved ones have I/DD and are in need of services.  If you are new to this website and need information, please be sure to visit our LITERATURE page, which presents the physical facilities (with pictures) and the range of services available at Richmond State Supported Living Center (RSSLC).   Our FYI page contains information about how to get your loved one admitted.  We  hope  you  will  visit  all parts of this website. We welcome your constructive comments which can be sent by way of our CONTACT US page!

We regret that we cannot show inviting and attractive pictures of the residents in their activities, of which there are many, as doing so would be a violation of privacy laws.  The 55-year existence of Richmond SSLC is one of the best kept secrets in the state.  It is one of 13 such facilities around Texas.  Richmond SSLC is caring for our loved ones in ways that we family members can’t begin to do.

Welcome to our website!  If you need further information, please email us via the CONTACT US page or call Jay Dietz – Families & Friends President:  (281) 216-8885.
